Mr. Steven A. Seelig is a Principal and CEO of Financial Stability Associates, a consulting firm specialising in... the spectrum of financial stability issues. Prior to establishing Financial Stability Associates, Mr. Seelig served as Advisor in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the International Monetary Fund ('IMF'). Mr. Seelig spent the bulk of his professional career at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation ('FDIC'), as the Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Seelig also worked as an Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and as an Associate Professor of Economics at Fordham University. Mr. Seelig was a Board member of National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) from 2010 - 2013 and served as a member of the Supervisory Board of PrivatBank in Ukraine from 2017 - 2019. In that capacity he chaired the Risk Management Committee and was a member of the Audit Committee.
Donna bring over 20 years of experience of working in the democratic/political governance... sector in East & West Africa, South East Asia and currently South Asia. She has now worked successfully with eight different legislative bodies and and brings a wealth of experience blending legislative strengthening insights with enhancing transparency and accountability by engaging directly with civil society. Donna has had assignments in a senior leadership roles including contracts with USAID, the European Union and UNDP
Marc is the managing director and owner at Adapt LLC (www.adapt-consult.com). Adapt is a small business that provides analytical... services such as applied political economy analysis and social network analysis. Marc has over twenty five years of international development experience with a specialization in democratic governance programming. He is also as a part-time senior fellow with USAID. He has served as director of governance at Pact.(www.pactworld.org) Before joining Pact, Marc served as a Senior Manager at the International Resources Group in Washington, DC. Other positions Marc has held included: Director of Governance and Rights at the International Rescue Committee; Chief of Party on USAID parliamentary strengthening projects in Bulgaria, Kenya and Uganda. Marc has also worked for DFID (Malawi, Uganda), UNDP (Afghanistan, Cambodia, Ethiopia), World Bank (Dominican Republic) Asia Foundation (Indonesia and East Timor), and USAID (Bulgaria Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Kenya, Mozambique).
As a research associate at the Africa Center, Paul Nantulya researches and prepares written analysis on contemporary Africa... security issues. His areas of expertise include governance, mediation, peace processes, peacekeeping, and East Africa. Prior to joining the Africa Center, Mr. Nantulya served as a regional technical advisor on South Sudan for Catholic Relief Services (CRS) from 2009 to 2011, where he supported crisis mitigation for the Government of South Sudan including writing policy analyses for the Ministry of Peace and Comprehensive Peace Agreement Implementation.
Doug Pool is the founder and CEO of UpNET Solutions, a Washington DC based Info Tech Consultancy which provides... managed IT cloud services. Doug is also a Co-founder of 3rd Designs an innovative product design start-up with a focus on vehicular traffic and perimeter security. Before embarking on the current ventures, Doug spent 9 years as an IT Director for Subsystem Technologies and four years as an IT Manager at Children’s Defense Fund. He also worked as a Network Administrator at Alliance Management Systems. Doug enjoys coaching youth soccer and finding good real-estate deals.
